‘Khaunga, khane doonga aur khilaunga’: Congress slams PM Modi’s anti-graft pitch

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh issued a sharp critique of the Prime Minister’s anti-graft pitch, mocking the famous slogan 'Na khaunga, na khane doonga' by suggesting the current regime follows a different approach. The opposition party claimed that the rapid expansion of the Adani Group illustrates the true nature of the government's economic policies.

Ramesh recalled the 'Hum Adani Ke Hain Kaun' series, where the Congress posed 100 questions to the Prime Minister regarding his alleged links with businessman Gautam Adani. The Congress alleges that these questions remain unanswered despite repeated demands for transparency in Parliament and public forums.

The statement comes as part of a broader political strategy to challenge the BJP's narrative on clean governance ahead of upcoming electoral battles. The Congress maintains that the Prime Minister's rhetoric on corruption is inconsistent with the preferential treatment allegedly given to specific corporate entities.
