THE WHAT? GS Global has entered the beauty distribution sector by launching three South Korean cosmetics brands through Japanese premium beauty retailer Cosme Kitchen, marking the commercial debut of its global beauty distribution business.
THE DETAILS Developed in partnership with its Japanese subsidiary, GS Japan, the initiative will introduce Jejuindi, Talitha Koum and Pretty Actually to Cosme Kitchen, a premium retailer operated by MASH Beauty Lab with approximately 70 stores across Japan. GS Global said the project is the first commercial step in building a global beauty distribution platform designed to support South Korean indie beauty brands with international expansion. The company will manage the full commercial process, including brand selection, export, regulatory compliance, import operations, inventory management and sales data analysis, with plans to expand the model into Europe, the Middle East and Indonesia.
THE WHY? The launch signals GS Global’s entry into the global beauty supply chain, positioning the company as a distribution and market access partner for emerging K-beauty brands while supporting international retail expansion through its existing global trade network.
