Excise officials arrest three with 40.5 kg ganja Bhadradri Kothagudem district

Prohibition and Excise Department officials seized 40.5 kg of dry ganja and arrested three persons in two separate cases during a vehicle checking drive at Rangapuram in Palvancha mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Monday.
The contraband was recovered from a car and two motorcycles intercepted ruing the drive conducted on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Khammam Division, V. Somi Reddy, according to a press release.
The vehicles were seized and one of the arrested persons is a native of Malkangiri district in Odisha. Further investigation is underway.
