Dragged, Bitten, Scalp Torn: 4-Year-Old Attacked By Stray Dog In Karnataka
A four-year-old boy in Karnataka underwent emergency medical treatment after being brutally attacked by a stray dog near his home. The incident has raised significant concerns regarding public safety and the rising population of stray animals in the Raichur district.

A four-year-old boy named Gopal was severely injured after being attacked by a stray dog while playing near his residence in Maliyabad, located in Karnataka's Raichur city. The animal reportedly dragged the child and inflicted deep bite wounds, resulting in a partially torn scalp and multiple lacerations across his body.
Witnesses and family members rushed to the child's aid to rescue him from the animal. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries, which include preventative measures for rabies and surgical care for the scalp wounds.
Local residents have expressed growing alarm over the presence of aggressive stray dogs in the neighborhood. Community leaders are calling on municipal authorities to implement stricter animal control measures and sterilization programs to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Source: NDTV
