Development works worth ₹500 crore underway in Kondepi, says Minister
Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy announced that development projects totaling ₹500 crore are currently being executed in the Kondepi constituency. The minister highlighted new infrastructure funding, including ₹45 crore sanctioned for a local residential school project.
During the inauguration of a road project at Singarayakonda, Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy stated that the state government is prioritizing infrastructure development in the Kondepi region. He noted that works worth ₹500 crore are at various stages of completion across the constituency.
The minister criticized the previous administration for allegedly stalling the BC residential school project in Singarayakonda. He confirmed that the BC Welfare Minister has now sanctioned ₹45 crore to ensure the completion of the educational facility for the benefit of local students.
Assuring residents of continued progress, Swamy emphasized that the current government is revitalizing projects that were previously abandoned. The focus remains on improving transport connectivity and social welfare infrastructure throughout the district. Source: The Hindu
