Cop Killed, 3 Injured After Police Van Rams Parked Truck In Jharkhand's Dhanbad
A policeman was killed and three others sustained injuries after their van collided with a stationary truck in Dhanbad early Thursday morning. The officers were returning to Hazaribag following a raid at the Maithan Dam outpost when the accident occurred.
A fatal road accident involving a police vehicle resulted in the death of one officer and injuries to three others on GT Road in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district. The incident took place at approximately 3:30 am within the jurisdiction of the Barwaada police station area.
According to police reports, the van rammed into a truck that was parked along the side of the road. The police team was traveling back to Hazaribag after conducting a raid in the Maithan Dam outpost area of Dhanbad when the collision happened.
The injured personnel were immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Authorities have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the high-impact collision on the highway. Source: PTI.
