Book by Southern Railway’s General Manager launched

Director of IIT Madras V. Kamakoti released the book Beyond the Ivy League: Traits, Skills and Wisdom That Make Great Leaders at a function held in Chennai on Thursday.

The book was written by R.N. Singh, General Manager of Southern Railway, and published by Simon & Schuster.

Lauding the book for its practical approach, Mr. Kamakoti said the principles discussed in it would be relevant not only to administrators and professionals, but also to students and future leaders navigating an increasingly dynamic world. Mr. Singh is set to retire from his post this month.
