An Army soldier identified as Jitendra Kumar and his father were killed during a violent confrontation with a cousin in Bihar. The dispute reportedly originated over the positioning or possession of a banana tree on their property, which escalated into a fatal attack.

Jitendra Kumar, who was currently posted in Delhi, had recently returned to his native village to mourn a relative who had died from electrocution. Witnesses state that the argument turned physical, leading to the deaths of both the soldier and his father at the scene.
