A coordinated operation involving the Cyber Cell, Crime Branch, and Hanumant Vihar police led to the apprehension of six suspects during a raid at Mangalam Garden on Arra Road in Barra. Authorities seized documents and digital evidence suggesting the group operated a large-scale network targeting job seekers across several regions.

Investigations revealed that the accused allegedly promised high-paying positions to desperate candidates in exchange for processing fees and security deposits. Initial estimates suggest that the total scale of the financial deception exceeds Rs 100 crore, making it one of the largest employment rackets recently uncovered in the state.

The police are currently analyzing the seized electronic devices to track the flow of funds and identify potential accomplices. Officials have urged victims of such job-related financial fraud to come forward and assist in the ongoing criminal proceedings to ensure a comprehensive recovery effort.
