31-Year-Old Diver Survives After Being Bitten By Nearly 7-Foot Shark In Australia
A 31-year-old diver is recovering after surviving a shark attack while swimming off the coast of Australia. The individual was bitten on the lower forearm by a seven-foot predator while submerged at a depth of approximately 26 feet.

A 31-year-old male diver was rescued after sustaining injuries from a shark bite while swimming approximately 165 feet from the Australian shoreline. At the time of the incident, the man was roughly 26 feet underwater when the predator struck his lower forearm.
Local authorities believe the animal involved was a broadnose sevengill shark, estimated to be about 6.5 feet in length. Broadnose sevengill sharks are known to inhabit temperate coastal waters and are distinguished by having seven gill slits instead of the usual five found in most shark species.
Emergency services treated the diver for his injuries, which were not reported as life-threatening. The incident has prompted renewed discussions regarding water safety and animal behavior in the region's coastal areas. (Source: News Reports)
