The 18th Kerala International Documentary and Short Film Festival (IDSFFK) will be held from September 25 to 30 in Thiruvananthapuram. This annual event serves as a platform for filmmakers to showcase non-fiction and short-form cinema from across the globe and within India.
A total of 1,741 entries have been received for the upcoming festival. The submitted works are currently undergoing a screening process to determine the final selection for the event's diverse program tracks.
Organizers are presently selecting films for the competition, non-competition, and Malayalam non-competition categories. The festival remains a key fixture in the regional cultural calendar, highlighting contemporary social issues and artistic innovation through short-form media.
