World Brain Day observed

Centre for Neuroscience, Department of Biotechnology at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat), observed World Brain Day on Tuesday (July 22, 2026) with a series of public awareness programmes on the theme ‘Healthy Brain for a Healthy Society'.

The event also marked the launch of the public outreach initiatives for the international conference on Translational Neuroscience to be held at the university from September 14 to 16, according to a release.

Music director Ouseppachan flagged off a memory walk on the occasion. Devadath Shaji, scriptwriter and filmmaker, delivered the keynote address, the release said.
