Woman Loses Way In Forest After Escaping Rape Bid, Cops Rescue Using Drones

A woman was rescued from the Ratanpur Reserve Forest in Odisha after fleeing a sexual assault attempt. The incident began when she accepted a motorcycle lift from the Khurda bus stand, only for the rider to divert into the forest area with criminal intent.
After managing to escape the suspect, the woman fled into the thick woods and subsequently lost her way. Concerned for her safety, she contacted the police, who immediately deployed drones to survey the forest canopy and pinpoint her coordinates.
The search operation concluded when the drone cameras spotted the victim, allowing ground teams to reach her and provide assistance. Authorities have initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the motorcycle rider involved in the incident, citing the local police department.
