Traffic diversions in Balkampet for Yellamma Kalyanam and Rathotsavam on July 21, 22

Traffic diversions will be in place in and around Balkampet on July 21-22 in view of the Yellamma Kalyanam and Rathotsavam at the Balkampet Yellamma Devasthanam.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police said a large number of devotees were expected to attend the events and advised commuters to avoid roads leading to the temple.

Traffic coming from Greenland, Matha Temple and Satyam Theatre towards Balkampet will be diverted at the SR Nagar T Junction to SR Nagar Community Hall, Abhilasha Towers, and B.K. Guda X Road before being allowed towards Sriram Nagar X Road and Sanath Nagar or Fateh Nagar Road.

Traffic from the Fateh Nagar flyover towards the temple will be diverted at the New Bridge near Hyderabad Kitchen Mart through the RUB towards Kattamaisamma Temple and Begumpet.

Vehicles coming from Greenland and Food World towards Balkampet will be diverted at Food World X Roads towards Sonabai Temple, Satyam Theatre, Maithrivanam and the S.R. Nagar T Junction.

Traffic from Begumpet and Kattamaisamma Temple towards Balkampet will be diverted towards Greenland through Begumpet Flyover, Matha Temple, Satyam Theatre and Maithrivanam.

The bylanes and link roads between the S.R. Nagar T Junction and Fateh Nagar will remain closed during the period.

The traffic police have identified the R&B Office, GHMC ground, Padma Shree Apartments parking area on the DK Road towards Nature Cure Hospital, Fateh Nagar underbridge, Nature Cure Hospital and GHMC playground at Sanath Nagar as parking areas for devotees.
