Three Andhra Pradesh tourists among 15 Indians killed in Vietnam boat tragedy
Three tourists from Andhra Pradesh are confirmed dead among 15 Indian nationals killed in a boating accident in Vietnam. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed state officials to coordinate assistance for the grieving families and assist survivors.
A tragic boating accident in Vietnam has claimed the lives of 15 Indian nationals, including three residents of Andhra Pradesh. The local victims have been identified as two individuals from the Kadapa district and one from Machilipatnam.
In response to the tragedy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his condolences and issued immediate instructions to the state administration. Officials are currently working with the Ministry of External Affairs to verify the status of other passengers from the region.
Surviving members of the tour group are being provided with medical attention and logistical support as the state government seeks to expedite their return to India. The authorities are also making arrangements for the repatriation of the deceased back to their respective hometowns.
