This 12-YO Has Removed 7,000 Kgs of Ocean Plastic

At just 12 years old, Thaaragai Aarathana has helped remove over 7,000 kilograms of plastic and ghost nets from the ocean.
But her mission goes far beyond clean-ups. From performing Bharatanatyam underwater to swimming from Sri Lanka to India under the message “Save the Ocean,” she’s finding extraordinary ways to inspire people to protect our oceans.
