Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk has been moved from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital following a directive from the Delhi High Court. The court issued this order to ensure the activist receive comprehensive medical attention during his treatment period.

As part of the judicial instructions, the director of Medanta Hospital has been tasked with forming a specialized team of doctors. This team is required to possess the necessary expertise to provide constant monitoring of Wangchuk's health status.
