Mortal remains of Kerala couple killed in Vietnam boat tragedy arrive in State
The bodies of an Indian couple who tragically drowned during a boat mishap in Vietnam have been repatriated to their home state of Kerala. Family members and local officials received the remains at the airport following the completion of international formalities.

The mortal remains of a Malayali couple who lost their lives in a boating accident in Vietnam arrived at the Cochin International Airport on Wednesday. The victims, identified as residents of Kerala, were on a vacation when the tragic incident occurred during a water-based excursion.
Government representatives and relatives were present at the cargo terminal to receive the caskets. The repatriation process was coordinated between the Indian Embassy in Hanoi and the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure the swift return of the deceased to their native village for final rites.
Local authorities confirmed that the couple had been part of a tourist group when their vessel encountered difficulties. Neighbors and community members have expressed their condolences as the family prepares for the funeral services scheduled to take place later this week.
