Man Swims For 3 Hours Through Floodwaters To Check On His Parents In China

In a remarkable act of filial devotion, local resident Xie embarked on a three-hour journey through deep floodwaters to check on his parents in rural China. The emergency began when his mother called to express urgent concern regarding his father's whereabouts during a heavy rainstorm.

According to reports, the father had left the safety of their home to secure rice that had been recently harvested. When the father failed to return as expected, the family feared he had been swept away or trapped by the rapidly rising water levels affecting the region.

Unable to use conventional transportation due to submerged roads, Xie opted to swim to his parents' location. He successfully navigated the hazards of the flood to reunite with his family and provide necessary assistance. (Source: News Reports)
