The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in Mysuru has announced admissions for the 2026–27 academic year, offering 65 courses. Interested candidates can enrol in the courses until September.
Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, A.P. Gnana Prakash, Vice-Chancellor of KSOU, said, “As the university completes three decades, we are introducing short-term, skill-based certificate courses. There is no need to come to Mysuru to pursue higher education. Students can enrol online through the respective regional centres and study.”
Further, he said that complete fee exemption has been granted to transgender students, students with 50% visual impairment, and those who lost their parents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Admissions for the 2026–27 academic year have commenced, and undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are being offered.
