The inauguration ceremonies of Karnatak Lingayat Education (KLE) Society’s Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath (JGMM) Medical College and KLE Hospital & Medical Research Centre in Hubballi, scheduled to take place on July 25, has been postponed.

According to a press release issued by KLE Society, the events have been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and other dignitaries were expected to attend the event, organised to mark a significant milestone in the advancement of medical education and healthcare in North Karnataka. Sources revealed that Mr. Shah’s visit to Hubballi has been cancelled.

Regretting the inconvenience caused due to the postponement, the society has said that a revised date for the ceremony will be announced in due course.
