Indian-Origin Google Techie Shot Dead By Husband At US Home, Son Injured
An Indian-origin software engineer at Google was fatally shot by her husband at their residence in Georgia, USA. The couple's young son was also injured during the domestic incident and is currently receiving medical treatment.
A 56-year-old man, identified as Kirk B Wrzesien, has been arrested following a fatal shooting at a family home in Cobb County, near Atlanta. The victim, an Indian-origin employee at Google, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders on Tuesday night.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the couple's son sustained injuries during the shooting and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect was apprehended at the residence without further incident and has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
The accused is currently being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Centre as investigations continue. Local authorities have not yet disclosed a potential motive for the violence, and the welfare of the surviving minor remains a primary concern for social services.
