Former Athens Olympic Hall Destroyed By Fire
A major fire broke out at a former 2004 Olympic Games venue in Athens on Sunday night, causing extensive damage to the structure. Firefighters worked through the night to bring the blaze under control by Monday morning.

The Hellenic Fire Service deployed significant resources to the site, battling the inferno for several hours. It was not until the early hours of Monday morning that officials confirmed the fire was fully under control, though cooling operations continued throughout the day to prevent reignition.
