BSNL unaudited operational revenue up by 10% to ₹4,418 crore in Q1: Scindia

Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has announced that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recorded a provisional revenue of approximately ₹4,418 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. This figure represents an operational growth of 10 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

The increase in revenue comes as the state-owned enterprise continues its efforts to modernize infrastructure and expand its service footprint across India. The financial data shared by the minister reflects unaudited operational performance during the initial three months of the fiscal cycle.

The minister highlighted these figures as an indicator of the company's trajectory within the competitive telecommunications sector. Further detailed financial statements are expected following official audits of the quarterly performance. Source: Press Trust of India
