Australian police reveal unseen photos 25 years after British backpacker murder

Australian authorities have made public a series of previously unreleased photographs taken in the aftermath of Peter Falconio's disappearance 25 years ago. The images depict the crime scene on the Stuart Highway near Barrow Creek, where the British tourist was last seen before being murdered during a roadside ambush.
Bradley John Murdoch was convicted of the murder in 2005, yet Falconio's body has never been recovered despite extensive searches over the decades. The newly released photos focus on forensic details and the surrounding landscape, aimed at triggering memories for anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time.
Police officials stated that the cold case remains active and the primary goal is to provide closure for the Falconio family by locating his final resting place.
