Air India Group To Restore Full Middle East Network This Winter: Nipun Aggarwal

Air India Group has announced its intention to stabilize and fully restore its flight network across the Middle East for the winter season. The airline group is working to normalize schedules that were previously impacted by regional instability and logistical hurdles.

Chief Commercial Officer Nipun Aggarwal stated that the primary challenge during recent months was not a decline in passenger demand, which remained resilient. Instead, the airline faced significant operational difficulties due to sudden airspace closures and the resulting flight diversions.

The group, which includes Air India and its low-cost subsidiaries, is focusing on optimizing its fleet to meet the continued interest in travel between India and Gulf destinations. This move aligns with broader efforts to streamline operations following the merger of Air India Express and AIX Connect. Source: Nipun Aggarwal via News Agencies.
