By connecting Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir, the high-speed corridor aims to cut travel time between the national capital and the holy town of Katra. The project is strategically designed to boost economic activity and ease the movement of goods and passengers across these four states.
Government officials have highlighted that the expressway incorporates modern safety features and sustainable construction practices. The completion of this section marks a milestone in the expansion of India’s national highway network and the modernization of its transport facilities.
