Connor Charlton, a 32-year-old semi-professional footballer, has been imprisoned for a series of driving offences and a scam involving penalty points. Charlton, residing in Hunslet, appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday. He received a four-year jail sentence and a driving ban of four years and seven months. He had previously pleaded guilty to ten charges of dangerous driving and four charges of perverting the course of justice.
